Kinnevik’s portfolio of listed holdings include companies which were all started by Kinnevik and where Kinnevik maintains a substantial shareholding. In practice, Kinnevik exerts its ownership through the Board of Directors of the major listed holdings. In this work, we strive to strengthen each company’s unique position.
Our strategy has resulted in a strong presence in emerging markets where Kinnevik has more than half of the assets spread over Central and South America, Africa, Eastern Europe including Russia and Asia. In developed markets, the Kinnevik companies have a strong presence in the Nordic countries but also a significant presence in the rest of Europe.
