In June 2009, Kinnevik acquired 30% of the shares in the Ukrainian farming company, RawAgro, from the local investment company TAS, for a purchase consideration of about USD 4 million. Kinnevik has the option to increase its participation in the company to 50%.
RawAgro controls about 13,000 hectares of leased farm land in five regions in the Ukraine.
